2022 is finally here…
As we close the first month of the new year, HSP Group would like to wish you and your families good health and a successful start to 2022.
Taking a moment to reflect on our 2021 launch year, we are humbled and grateful to say it was an experience that saw us grow from 0 to 65 new clients, 900+ new payslips processed per month, 47 core employees hired, and a presence established in 75 countries across the globe.
All the hard work and commitment of our team and partners globally comes to fruition when we have esteemed clients like Caroline Painter, International Controller at ACQUIA say: “We were so excited to see the founding team of HSP Group come together back on the market, and it coincided with Acquia looking for a new International Payroll and Compliance provider. As the client-preferred provider of global expansion software and services, we cherish our clients, whom like Acquia, we see as business partners, as they continue supporting HSP in our technology enhancements and transformation, providing valuable feedback which ensures our solutions and platforms are built for clients with client input.
Last year saw significant and improved changes within the organization, with the promotion of Katie Davies to EVP, Solution Architecture and her subsequent appointment to the HSP Board of Directors. Katie’s vast experience and in-depth knowledge of the global expansion market ensured that our Sales and Solutioning teams were on-point to deliver practical solutions to the complex landscape of doing business in international jurisdictions. Katie continues to be key in rolling out technology driven solutions that fit our clients’ needs in 2022…more to come on this, stay tuned!
In addition, Daniel Stevens was promoted to VP, Implementation & Consulting Solutions and joined the HSP Group Executive Committee. Daniel’s vast experience leading high performing teams in the international expansion arena has helped HSP be laser focused in ensuring our clients receive premium quality transitions and bespoke, made to measure solutions to their global expansion needs. Daniel also oversaw the launch of our simplified service offerings: Global People Solutions (GPS), where we support our clients with everything related to their employees; and Global Entity Solutions (GES) where we remove the complexities and burdens of managing your companies across a global footprint. Daniel will be bolstering our Project & Technical consulting capabilities, further supporting our clients in their Global Payroll and Accounting transitions in 2022…stay tuned!
This bring us to 2022…
Feeding off the success of the last quarter of 2021 (Oct-Dec), where we closed new engagement bookings at 50% above target, we are on track to surpass our Jan-Mar quarterly targets before we reach the end of February.
All of this new business has meant there is a need to accelerate our growth plans, which is why I am pleased to make the following announcements, effective January 1st 2022:
Sky Mehringer has been promoted to Senior Director, Head of Global People Solutions. In addition to providing mission-critical consulting services to clients, in her new role Sky will be helping to further develop HSP Group’s Global People Services offering and team, with an initial focus on HR Admin Support and Global Payroll.
Jess Nunes has been appointed Senior Director, Lead Consultant. Also focused on providing mission-critical consulting services to our clients, in addition to supporting the growth of our Global Entity Solutions (GES) offering.
Sally So, in addition to her work supporting key strategic client accounts, has been appointed Director of our newly created Sales Enablement team. In this new role, Sally will be building and managing the team of professionals who will support the myriad of operational tasks that will optimize the ability of our talented roster of Sellers and Global Services Directors / Managers to land new client logos, and expand our business with those clients who are already supported by HSP.
Lisa Weber has been promoted to Director of HR & Administration. Lisa has been instrumental in helping to manage the accelerated hiring of the HSP team of resources necessary to support the tremendous growth of the business. Lisa will continue to lead the efforts to help identify, recruit and onboard the very best personnel in our industry, as we ensure that we continue to live up to our commitment of remaining the client-preferred provider of global expansion solutions.
These roles show HSP Group’s focus and commitment to our clients, as we build on our success to date by re-investing in key roles within the organization that will help us grow our services, technology integrations and global reach, which in turn will ensure we remain our clients’ global expansion partner of choice.
