HSP Group Hires Leaders for its Consulting Solutions business

Renowned international expansion and business advisor Katie Davies hired as its global leader; and industry veteran Daniel Stevens will head up its Implementation & Transformation practice.

HSP Group, the client preferred provider of global expansion software and services, is pleased to announce the hiring of Katie Davies as Vice President of its Consulting Solutions business.  Katie was most recently Vice President, International Solution Development & Advisory Services at Vistra, a global professional services firm.  Katie will now lead the worldwide consulting operation for HSP Group, focused on helping headquarters-based Finance, Tax, Legal and HR personnel deal with the challenges that continually arise when managing a global footprint.  These specialized Consulting Solution services include:

  • Practically focused advice addressing interconnected technical considerations related to best practice, governance, compliance management and risk mitigation across specialisms such as:

    • Legal entity planning & setups;

    • Domestic and international corporate tax interaction and guidance;

    • Supply chain assessments for direct / indirect tax planning and compliance as well as considering ‘data flows’ through the supply chain for data governance;

    • Planning & implementing ad hoc multi-jurisdictional projects such as legal entity rationalizations;

    • HR strategic guidance and compliance support for employee relations and compensation & benefits matters;

    • Global mobility strategic planning and implementation solutions that include immigration, expatriate tax and social security impacts, structuring and implementing expatriate payroll arrangements, dealing with “remote workers”, and corporate tax nexus triggers;

    • Indirect tax optimization, compliance and risk mitigation for VAT, GST, and similar local taxes; and

    • Data protection (including GDPR) obligations, including policy documents.

  • M&A Transaction Services including “International Readiness” support, and other assistance helping ensure buy-side success with respect to the challenging multinational aspects of an acquisition.

  • Implementation & Transformation support including an end-to-end Program and Project Management practice, with certified PMP and Prince2 professionals to guide our clients through the complexities and uncertainties of international expansion and change management.

  • RFP support, focused on assisting clients with selecting the best vendor according to their needs.

  • Staff Augmentation for clients in need of Project and/or Program Management support, providing the expertise required to ensure a smooth transition to their vendor of choice.

In addition, Daniel Stevens has joined Katie’s team as Head of the Implementation & Transformation practice within the Consulting Solutions group.  Danny was most recently Global Head of Implementation Services with TMF Group.
